Ruth and The Ark channel the early days of soul with a heavy touch of funky blues that you won’t forget.

Call Me-Unique (stripped back), onstage 640pm

Call Me Unique

Singer / songwriter & guitarist Call Me Unique infuses the sounds of jazz, soul, futurebeats, and scat-singing. Influenced by the sounds of Lauryn Hill, Ed Sheeran, Ella Fitzgerald & Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes. Renowned for her love of scatting and eclectic performance approach, her vibe truly is “unique”.

Layla Tutt (stripped back), onstage 545pm

Layla Tutt at Sofar Sounds

Inspired by Old Grey Whistle tests, Woodstock festivals and Pompeii Amphitheatres, Layla Tutt is a skilful songstress, fashioning tunes to groove to, tunes to move you. A lover of assonance and dissonance, she is thrilled by rhythm and rhyme.

It’s the hand that dances the one to watch. Percussive, ferocious guitar strings and haunting, ethereal vocals; she’ll pull and pluck at the heartstrings, sparking up the spirit and soothing the soul.
