This time around on SheBeat Meets, Brum Radio’s favourite singer-songwriter showcase, is Chloe Mogg.
Chloe is from Stourport-on-Severn and has been making music for as long as she can remember. Aged just 10 years old, Chloe knew she wanted to write songs after seeing an early musical hero, Nick Harper, perform live. Influences and inspiration include Jeff Buckley which you can hear that soulful troubadour style in her track The Only One. Chloe says her songwriting is very much of the storytelling genre, with influences from her life seeping into the content of her music, including relationships and struggles with mental health.
Performing original songs Blue, The Only One and So Much More on the live SheBeat Meets podcast, Chloe has recently started a Patreon page where folks can follow and support her music making, including a plan for her debut album later this year.
One of Chloe’s favourite things to do is her girl-power music night called Female Voices at the Tower of Song every month. Check out when you can attend the next event, or catch Chloe performing live, via her Facebook page listed below.
Chloe is a great Midlands’ songwriting talent, a warmth and soulful essence that adds depth to her music. Looking forward to seeing what 2020 brings for this local songwriter.
